FRENCH COMPANIES IN SPAIN. Containment and difficult recovery, entrepreneurs organize themselves and offer their time and experience to help each other.
« Many companies will experience increasing difficulties as of September, the ICO, ERTE and other mechanisms have allowed some to get through the last three months, but once these mechanisms are stopped, it is certain that the situation will be more complex » em> explains Guillaume Rostand, president of French Tech Barcelona and one of the initiators of the Rebooth and Growth project. At his side, two experts in business consulting: Eric Talabardon (ETL Global) and Pascal Vieilledent (Anquor Capital Finance).
The three French are currently meeting around financial and legal professionals who will be able to advise free of charge, even for a few hours, to help companies in difficulty. For the second phase of the project, investors, experts in sales, marketing or human resources will also be sought.
« French companies in Spain will need technical assistance in matters of Corporate Finance for recapitalization, restructuring and turnaround operations» continues Guillaume Rostand who does not want to generate false hopes among entrepreneurs in difficulty.« La Our ambition is to help as best we can, but we don’t have a magic wand either, explains the president of French Tech Barcelona, we are benevolent but pragmatic ».
To launch the project, Rebooth and Growth will organize a webinar next Monday June 29th. On the programme: an inventory of the situation of French companies in Spain and the opportunities to take advantage of in this period of crisis. The virtual meeting will also detail the objectives and modalities of the new platform.
The team already has about twenty mentors, but is still actively seeking experts willing to volunteer their time and knowledge. Registration is done on the website of Rebooth and Growth .
Entrepreneurs interested in this support will be able to submit their application from July 1.
